The set comes in six styles: crystal ball, red crystal ball, snowflake, icicle, reindeer and hummingbird.
A remote control handles everything from across the room. Dim the brightness, switch between steady, flickering and breathing modes, and set a timer for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours so the candles switch off after the party winds down. Each candle runs on one AAA battery, which is not included, so there are no cords to hide and no need to plan the tree around an outlet. Each candle weighs about 1.8 ounces (50 g).
Beyond the tree, the candles work well on mantels, garlands, wreaths and window displays, where the soft light adds a cozy, traditional touch on winter nights. Mix the crystal and icicle styles for a sparkling look, or choose reindeer and hummingbird for a woodland feel.
