The pendant is made of glass and brass, mounts to the ceiling and is hardwired for indoor use. It takes an E26 bulb, LED or incandescent, which is not included, and supports 110 to 120 volt household power. A warm white bulb brings out the color in the glass, and installation by a qualified electrician is recommended. Hang it 30 to 36 inches above a table for a balanced look.
